Meet our Speech therapists
Stephanie Garret is the owner and a Speech Pathologist at The Speechful Center. Stephanie grew up in Oklahoma City. She earned her Bachelor of Science in 2003. She graduated with her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Central Oklahoma in 2005. Stephanie is certified by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and she has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She also is a member of the Oklahoma Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
John Standefer is a Speech-Language Pathologist at the Speechful Center. John grew up in Washington, OK. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma for his undergraduate and graduate studies, graduating in 2019 and 2021. John is certified by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and has his Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. He has three boys and found his passion for working with children while in grad school.
Celeste grew up in Lawton Oklahoma. She moved to Edmond in 2013 where she attended The University of Central Oklahoma and completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Celeste is Certified by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and she has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-language Hearing Associations. She has experience working in public schools, home health, and clinical settings. Her passion is working with pediatric clients. Outside of being a Speech-Language Pathologist she enjoys gardening, baking and crocheting.
